PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a riveting tool having a simple structure, easily assembled and provided with a low-cost safety sleeve. SOLUTION: The riveting tool is provided with a housing 11, a pin guide 12 movable in an axial direction with respect to the housing part 11, and the safety sleeve 20 surrounding at least partly the periphery of the pin guide 12, and the safety sleeve 20 has at least two shell parts 21, 22. The shell parts 21, 22 are comprised of fragments of a pipe body, and united with each other by a clamping element 23 surrounding at least partly both of the shell parts 21, 22, so as to constitute the safety sleeve 20. More suitably, a ringlike thick part 13 having a cylindrical outer face is provided for an end part of the pin guide 12 in a riveting direction 30 side. The clamping element 23 is constituted as a pipe body, and a slit 24 parallel to an axis 29 in a longitudinal direction is penetrated into a pipe wall of the pipe body.
