The invention relates to a method for balancing a clutch mechanism (10) provided with a cover (12) positioned on the flywheel of an engine (18) by means of positioning orifices (34) arranged on said cover (12). Said positioning orifices (34) interact with positioning pins carried by the flywheel (18). The inventive method consists in turning the mechanism (10) around a reference axis and in determining unbalance therearound. After the unbalance determination, the positioning orifices (34) for positioning the cover (12) on the flywheel (18) are embodied in the cover (12), the position thereof on the cover (12) being the unbalance measuring function. Said invention also relates to the cover (12) for the clutch mechanism (10) provided with the positioning orifices (34), at least one of the positioning orifices being embodied by machining, in particular by laser cutting. |
