The present abstract refers to a patent of invention for a method for obtaining a support and support as obtained, belonging to the field of the components of outer rear-view mirrors, which have been designed to simplify the manufacturing process and to incorporate advantages to the support over the conventional ones; for such a purpose the mentioned support (10) comprises a tubular body (11) made of injected plastic having water as the piece hollow portion forming fluid, and featuring the constructive details (12) in an integrated piece intended to cooperate in the performance of the support functions.
