<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably perform sample-and-hold of a voltage signal at prescribed timing. <P>SOLUTION: A PDIC (an integrated circuit provided with a photodiode and a current/voltage converter or the like) 200 is an integrated circuit provided in an optical pickup. The PDIC 200 has, for example, a photodetecting part 201. This photodetecting part 201 is constituted of a photodiode 211, a current/voltage converter 212, a sample-and-hold circuit 213, and an amplifier 214. The sample-and-hold circuit 213 sample-holds a voltage signal corresponding to bias power on the basis of a sampling pulse SMP1 in recording. The voltage signal is supplied directly from the current voltage converter 212 to the sample-and-hold circuit 213 without passing through a flexible cable or the like. The voltage signal corresponding to the bias power can be detected stably even in a short bias power period without deteriorating the response of rise and fall of the waveform of the voltage signal supplied to the sample-and-hold circuit 213. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
