<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a coupling after rotating it to a fixed position when a toner bottle is pulled from the coupling at a position other than the fixed position. <P>SOLUTION: A developer replenishing device includes: the toner bottle 25 storing toner t; the coupling 29 to which the distal end of the toner bottle 25 is inserted at the fixed position and the toner bottle 25 is freely attachably and detachably connected; and a driving device 26 which rotates the coupling 29. The driving device 26 rotates the toner bottle 25 and replenishes the toner t from the distal end of the bottle to a development unit 3.
