<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device capable of effectively preventing image persistence without omission screen ends and without allowing a viewing audience to feel the sense of incongruity. <P>SOLUTION: In the video display device which displays videos on a screen by causing the phosphor applied to the screen to emit light, the video displayed on the screen is divided to a plurality of regions and the area ratios of the respective regions to the screen are changed and the boundary lines of the plurality of the regions are moved at regulated movement timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
