<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode layer, a light emitting device including the same, and a method for manufacturing the electrode layer. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode layer containing a solid solution of oxide, in which a lanthanum series element and metal element are coupled, is provided, and the light emitting device including the same, for example, an LED, an LD, and the method for manufacturing the electrode layer, are provided.
