PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber sensor head for easily suppressing unevenness between individuals of a light-projecting region or a light-receiving region, and to provide a fiber type photoelectric sensor using the fiber sensor head. SOLUTION: In the fiber sensor head and the fiber-type photoelectric sensor, a lens has an opposite face, integrally forming a convex part protruded to an optical fiber side. The convex part of the lens has a surface area smaller than the surface area of the end face of an optical fiber opposed to the opposite face, and forms a transmissive face for transmitting light.
