PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic gasket capable of preventing liquid leakage from three-face joint part of a cylinder block, a cylinder head and a chain case cover with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The cylinder block 1, the chain case cover 2 and the cylinder head 5 are joined through the metallic gasket 4. An elastic body for filling a clearance, composed of an elastic seal material, is mounted on a position vertically opposite to the joint part of the cylinder blcok 1 and the chain case cover 2, of a base of the metallic gasket 4.
