PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer case with which a core can be fixed at an accurate position with respect to a bobbin even without using a holder and further, a gap can be accurately positioned. SOLUTION: A case 3 is composed of a plate part 5 and a rib part 6, the plate part 5 includes an inner surface 51 and an outer surface 52, and the rib part 6 includes confronted side rib portions 61, corner rib portions 62 in four corners of the plate part and confronted terminal rib portions 63. An axial dimension between both the terminal rib portions 63 is then set as long as an axial length of a bobbin 2, and the confronted corner rib portions 62 hold a core 4 therebetween.
