PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a mobile terminal capable of more enhancing the convenience in the case of viewing a program video image of television broadcasting. SOLUTION: In a foldable portable telephone set 1 wherein a casing 2 of a display part and a casing 3 of an operating part are connected via a hinge part 4 to be freely opened/closed, a main display part 5 is provided on a front face 2A of the display part casing that is exposed when opened, and a sub display part 10 is provided on a back face 2B of the display part casing that is always exposed regardless of the opened and closed states, so that the program video image of terrestrial digital television broadcasting can be displayed on the main display part 5 in the opened state and the relevant program video image can be displayed on the sub display part 10 in the closed state. Thus, the program video image of the terrestrial digital television broadcasting can be viewed not only in the state of opening the display part casing 2 and the operating part casing 3 but also in the state of closing them.
