PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copy protected optical disk capable of protecting the rights of an information supplier, and a program therefor. SOLUTION: (1) An optical disk is provided with ATIP on a disk full surface, a reproduction only area disposed in a part thereof by a pit, and ATIP (key ATIP) not continuous with front and rear ATIP and for generating an ATIP error, i.e., ATER in the reproduction only area. (2) A program operated on a personal computer to which an optical disk set in a reproducing device and using information recorded in the optical disk includes (1) the step of checking the presence of a key ATIP based on information indicating the presence of the key ATIP set in the program, and the step of determining a regular optical disk to continue the program when the presence of the key ATIP is detected or determining an illegal optical disk to cancel the program when the presence of the key ATIP is not detected.
