PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately and efficiently write information and to correspond to various formats without preparing a master disk in each format of a disk-like recording medium. SOLUTION: A grating interferometer type clock scale system is constituted of a clock pattern disk 50 having a clock track 52 on which an optically readable clock pattern 51 is recorded and an optical head 60 for optically reading out the clock pattern 51, a clock generation part 90 to which interference light obtained as an optical output by optically reading out the clock pattern 51 by the optical head 60 is lead through an optical fiber 80 generates a clock signal on the basis of an electric signal obtained by photoelectrically converting the optical output and a servo generation part 93 generates servo information synchronized with the clock signal.
