PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the state of an apparatus by videos via the Internet in a company which has equipment. SOLUTION: The system has a equipment monitoring device 103 which comprises a camera 111 acquiring video information of equipment 113 and an event detecting means 114 detecting event information from the equipment, and, when a failure signal from the equipment is detected, sends the signal as a failure event to a predetermined address on the Internet, and a terminal which comprises an event detecting means 107 which detects event information on the Internet, and when a failure event is detected by the event detecting means, displays the information on the failure event in addition to the video information, and a data center 104 which comprises an authenticating means which manages the propriety of an access from the terminal to the equipment monitoring device.
