PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the inexpensive use of a database by a user. SOLUTION: A part related to a department 31a of an integrated DB 22 of an integrated DB server 21 is copied to a work DB 42a. A DB related to a department 31b is similarly copied to a work DB 42b. Clients 51a-1 to 51a-n of the department 31a use the work DB 42 without using the integrated DB 22.
