<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developer from being sucked from the toner supply port of a coupling when a toner storage container is pulled out. <P>SOLUTION: A developer replenishing device includes: a coupling 29 which has a toner supply port 29b in its peripheral wall; partition walls 35 which are integrally disposed at predetermined intervals within the coupling 29 along the inside of the peripheral wall and has holes 35a which have larger opening size than the toner supply port 29b, in its peripheral wall; and a toner bottle which stores toner t. The distal end of the toner bottle is air-tightly inserted into the partition walls 35 so that it is freely pulled out. The toner bottle has an opening 28a which faces the holes 35a of the partition wall 35, in the peripheral wall of the distal end.
