<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank and a fuel cell system that can smoothly supply methanol (liquid fuel) as fuel and can effectively use up the methanol in the tank by extrusion. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel tank is for supplying liquid fuel as fuel to a fuel cell. The fuel tank has a double structure having two divided spaces, one of which is filled with liquid fuel and the other of which can be supplied with air that extrudes the liquid fuel. The double structure uses, for example, an outer container and an inner container, and air supply to the space between the inner container and the outer container extrudes methanol in the inner container.
