PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for facilitating an instruction / change operation of contents obtained from a television broadcast channel and an information communication network. SOLUTION: The remote control transmitter is provided with: a network selection key 7 for instructing a television broadcast and a network such as the Internet; a plurality of program instruction keys 5 for instructing programs of the network; and a preferred program key 3 to which a preferred television channel and an Internet address can be assigned, and a user uses the program instruction keys 5 to change channels and addresses in the same network, and uses the preferred program key 3 to set a preferred channel or address in the entire networks, so that the user can change programs over different networks by a single key operation of the preferred program key 3.
