<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of controlling the brightness of digital image data to a constant value regardless of the color temperature of a light-emitting source if the output of a photometric sensor is equal in the digital camera having the photometric sensor apart from an image pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: This digital camera is provided with: a photometric means 66 for measuring the brightness of an object; an image picking-up means 27 for picking up the image of the object and converting the image of the object into an electric signal; an image pickup control means 41; a converting means 29 for converting the output signal of the image picking up means 27 into digital image data; a determination means 41 for determining white balance from the digital image data converted by the converting means 29; and an adjusting means 16 for applying brightness adjustment and white balance adjustment which correspond to the difference in spectral sensitivity distributions of the photometric means 66 and the image picking-up means 27 to the digital image data on the basis of the information of the white balance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
