MOTOR, AND ELECTRIC POWER STEERING DEVICE MOUNTING THE MOTOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which has winding structure easy of layout and capable of downsizing, without connecting wires crossing one another, being suitable for an electric power steering device.

SOLUTION: This motor has a rotor consisting of a plurality of permanent motors and armature winding consisting of multiple pieces of three in circumferential direction. This motor is driven by three-phase power, with its one phase being constituted each by connecting every three phases or every multiple poles of three of the armature winding with one another in series adjacently. Each connecting wire for connecting each piece of armature winding with the next in series is arranged not to straddle the neighboring piece of armature winding.
