PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial soil for the roof greening use to suppress the heat-island phenomenon in an urban area, dissolve the stagnation of industry by the reuse of industrial wastes discharged in the production process of stagnating ceramic industry in an urban area as a fertilizer and a plant growth base, and realize the recycling and circulation of the industrial wastes as resources, to provide a method for the production of the soil and to construct a recycling environmental city. SOLUTION: The artificial soil contains a granulated material and humus as essential components. The granulated material is produced by granulating and solidifying waste soil discharged after the refining of mountain soil rich in feldspar to granular diameter of 1.0-25.0 mm. The solidification method comprises the heat-treatment preferably at 500-1300°C or the mixing with cement. Preferably, feldspar waste soil is further added to the artificial soil for roof greening use containing the granulated material and humus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
