PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrenic resin extruded foam which has excellent environmental adaptation and excellent flame retardance. SOLUTION: This styrenic resin extruded foam is obtained by extrusion foaming of a styrenic resin without using a halogen compound as a blowing agent and with the use of a tetrabromobisphenol A having a temperature of 5% weight loss on heating at≤310°C or its derivative as a flame-retardant. The bromine content based on 100 pts.mass this foam is≥0.7 pt.mass, and the styrenic resin extruded foam passes at least one of the measuring methods A, B, and C in the combustion test regulated by JIS A9511.
