PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration detection sensor capable of realizing an acceleration sensor having a simple structure, and connecting a plurality of sensors to one measuring device. SOLUTION: This accelerometer is equipped with a detection body 2 having one end fixed to a measuring object whose acceleration is to be measured and the other end which is a free end comprising an elastic body, a deadweight 3 fixed to the free end of the detection body 2, and the sensor FBG (fiber Bragg grating) 1 provided on the detection body 2, for detecting the acceleration from a strain of the detection body 2 bent corresponding to the acceleration.
