PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for writing in a memory, in which data can be selectively written from an information processor to a desired adress of a memory smaller in bit width than the information processor without changing the configuration of a bus sizing circuit. SOLUTION: This method and device comprise a mask circuit 60 for selectively masking, in an access from a CPU 10 to the memory 20, memory write enable signals WE corresponding to other addresses except the desired address in a plurality of continued memory addresses instructed by the bus sizing circuit 31 of a controller 30.
