PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stringed instrument which has superior acoustic, functional, design, cost, mass-productivity, and musical performance characteristics while having the new feature that a main body is formed of hierarchically stacked plate materials. SOLUTION: This stringed instrument is characterized on the whole in that the main body comprising a multi-layered structure of plates stacked across gaps and an additional structure is stringed.
