The illumination device has a 2-part housing with a front part (1) and a rear part (9) enclosing a circuit with a battery (6) and a light source (2) connected to the battery via a spring (7) operated by the rear part of the housing. A fixing clip for the illumination device is secured to the housing to allow its rotation through 360 degrees.
