<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple remote monitoring system using a mobile telephone device with a camera. <P>SOLUTION: A photographing unit 20 comprises a control unit for performing photography by remote operation, and stores a keyword allowing access to the control unit and the address of an origination telephone device corresponding to the keyword into a RAM 18. It is distinguished whether a text of a received e-mail matches with the keyword for control registered beforehand or not. If it matches, a photo is automatically taken with a camera, and a transmitting unit 12 transmits photographing data photographed by the photographing unit 20 to the mail address for remote control registered beforehand. According to the configuration, a mobile telephone device with a camera can be controlled remotely and monitoring function in remote is configured using mail and camera functions mounted on most of mobile telephone devices with a camera as a standard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
