<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a server to be added or changed without delaying other processes due to synchronization, and with maintaining consistency, in an environment of document distributed processing system with multi-servers where a plurality of servers on network can share the same online documents and each of the servers can reference/update the documents. <P>SOLUTION: Server registration means 51 of a server 10, when received a request to register a new server, delivers a copy of the shared document at the time when the request is issued to a new server, and also delivers the documents updated thereafter to the new server on behalf of other servers until completing the new server registration to all the servers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
