<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours required for the optimization of a production program and the simulation of the program, and also reduce human errors occurring therein. <P>SOLUTION: One or a plurality of component packaging machines are coupled to constitute a line for packaging components according to the production program. The optimization of the production program used in such a line is continuously performed (S5), and a performance evaluation value of the optimization is calculated from the component packaging results in the line where the optimized production program is used (S9). Then, the evaluation value is compared with previous evaluation values of the optimization to determine whether the optimization meets an acceptance standard (S11). Since the optimizations of a plurality of production programs for a plurality of line configurations can be successively performed in such a constitution, defects of an optimization algorithm or program errors can be simply found, thereby remarkably reducing the man-hours required for the optimization of the production program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
