<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which elaborately calculates a printing charge in conformity with each of conditions such as an ink cost corresponding to an amount of images, accounts the charge and displays it, and does not account the charge on the first printing after platemaking and a printing for adjustment based on a trial printing key inherent to a printing machine. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus has a means for detecting the kind of the ink and a storing means for storing data on the printing charge per arbitrary sheets of paper on every kind of the ink. Based on the data from the means for detecting the kind of the ink, the printing charge per arbitrary sheets of the paper is selected from the storing means, and it is used for calculation by a calculating means to add it to the printing charge to account the charge, and it is displayed on a displaying part 82 in a charge accounting device 80. In addition, on the first printing after platemaking and the printing for adjustment based on the trial printing key inherent to the printing machine, it can be excluded from an object for accounting the charge on the printing for the number of the inputted price number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
