PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide groupware by which log-in can be performed by the ID and password of a user, and log-in in a group of a hierarchical structure to which the user belongs is performed by the ID of each group and the password of the user. SOLUTION: The groupware is allowed the use of each user by means of the log-in from a plurality of computers connected to a network. A server computer 1 is provided with the password of each of the users, and a user management table 10 setting the ID to each of the groups forming the hierarchical structure involving the user. The log-in is done when the inputted ID and password are applicable to the ID of the group set on the user management table and the password of the user involved in the hierarchy of the group.
