PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus capable of recording and print-designating with a few operating members. SOLUTION: Under a photograph mode, a release switch 36 is pushed to execute the photograph with a preview picture shown on a liquid crystalline monitor 34. When wishing to record on a memory card 46, a photographing person pushes the release switch 36 "twice", and for canceling the record, the person pushes the release switch 36 "once".
