PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorber which has simple constitution and is reducible in manufacturing cost by a simple manufacturing process and structured to obtain waterproof effect for the flank. SOLUTION: An outer cloth is wound cylindrically in noncontact state a base material to the peripheral surface of the base material made of nonwoven fabric having sound absorptivity.
