<p>A safety system for working on elevated sites, e.g. on a flat roof, has a mesh assembled by interlocking smaller modules and secured onto the site by ballast, e.g. roofing gravel. The mesh provides anchorage points for safety fittings, e.g. for securing a safety harness or for fastening a safety railing. The mesh can have a three dimensional structure with integral or separate connectors, and is made of rot proof material. No modifications are required into the roof structure, i.e. no damage to the water and thermal insulation.</p> |
