The fully variable valve controller has a transfer lever with a torsion spring pivotably mounted about the axle of the lever and fitted in the valve drive with a bias, whereby the deformation and bending of the lever and hence permanent play-free contact between the camshaft and the cam side of the transfer lever and between the valve shaft and the valve side of the lever is guaranteed.
