This invention relates to compositions and methods that modulate the movemen t of cells with migratory capacity. More specifically, the invention relates t o compositions and methods for promoting migratory movement, fugetaxis, of cel ls from a specific site in a subject. The foregoing are useful, inter alia,in t he treatment of conditions characterized by a need to promote migratory cell movement away from specific sites in a subject. Specific sites include sites of inflammation, infection, an autoimmune reaction, a tumor and a transplant ed organ or tissue.
