<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller capable of supplying power to a plurality of loads having different potentials while minimizing increase in the system weight or the volume. <P>SOLUTION: The power controller comprises a step up/down circuit 1 for driving a travel motor through PAM control and controlling charge/discharge of a battery B1 incident to driving or regeneration of the travel motor by stepping up or down the I/O potential of the battery B1 and the I/O potential of an inverter circuit provided between the battery B1 and the travel motor in order to drive the travel motor, and a step down circuit 2 for controlling power supply to auxiliary machinery operating with power of lower potential than that of the battery B1. Chopper circuit of the step up/down circuit 1 is constituted of the primary winding L1 of a transformer T1 and power is induced in the secondary windings L2 and L3 of the transformer T1 by power supplied to the primary winding L1. The step down circuit 2 supplies the auxiliary machinery with power induced in the secondary windings L2 and L3 while stepping down the potential. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
