<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding treatment method for a shielding electric wire by which proper shielding treatment can be performed to a shielding electric wire obtained by twisting two core wires by ultrasonic welding. <P>SOLUTION: In the shielding treatment method for a shielding electric wire 1, shielding electric wire 1 obtained by coating the outer circumferences of twisted two core wires 1a with a braided wire 1c and a ground wire 2 are held by a pair of resin members 3, and ultrasonic welding is performed. Using a fixture 7 for shielding treatment having a pair of electric wire inserting grooves 9 respectively provided on the positions at the intervals of half the twisting pitch P of the two core wires 1a, and whose width is set to the width W through which the shielding electric wire 1 allowed to be inserted only at the positions where the twisted two core wires 1a are lengthwise arranged in parallel, the shielding electric wire 1 is inserted into the pair of electric wire inserting grooves 9 in the fixture 7 for shielding treatment, and the shielding electric wire 1 and the ground wire 2 are subjected to ultrasonic welding at almost the central position between the pair of electric wire inserting grooves 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
