<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial signal transmission apparatus which can automatically control the timing in relation to the timing control of data transmission and can prevent unstable data from flowing into a higher rank circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A serial signal transmission apparatus 19 comprises a parallel signal switch circuit 211 for switching a parallel signal from an encoder circuit 81 and a parallel signal that is generated in a timing control circuit 31. While the timing control is not executed just after a power source is turned on or during the timing control, for example, a serial signal that flows to an optical transmission line, is generated as a parallel signal in the timing control circuit 31 and is inputted through the optical transmission line to a timing control circuit in a counter apparatus via the parallel signal switching circuit 211 and a parallel/serial conversion circuit 411. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
