PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which the convenience can be enhanced in printing by determining the intended composition with respect to a captured image. SOLUTION: Frames 51, 52 surrounding the partial images 31_11, 31_12 composed of a part of a captured images 31_1 that is displayed on the display screen of a liquid crystal monitor 31 are displayed being superimposed on that captured image 31_1, and partial image specification information specifying partial image data corresponding to the partial images 31_11, 31_12 surrounded by those frames 51, 52 is stored in a memory.
