PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily foldable plastic cellular sheet and a laminated cushioning material using it, especially a laminated cushioning packaging material using the cellular sheet having sufficient cushioning capacity capable of packaging an article to be packaged having a three-dimensional irregular shape in a cushioning state by being highly closely fitted to the shape of the article to be packaged, and a method for manufacturing them. SOLUTION: The cells of the parts along the lines to be folded of the plastic cellular sheet are absent substantially or are markedly reduced in height to prevent the obstruction of folding. In the manufacturing method of the laminated cushioning packaging material fitted to the shape of the article to be packaged, spaces having the shape/dimension corresponding to the contour of the article to be packaged is provided at the predetermined positions of a long cellular sheet by cutting or punching and the laminate of the cellular sheet having the housing space corresponding to the shape of the article to be packaged is formed by folding the cellular sheet to stack the spaces before the laminated state of the laminate is fixed.
