PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass spectroscope with a multipole ion guide, having an ion transport system transporting ions from an ionizing part to a mass spectrometer part which can exclude unnecessary ions before they reach the mass spectrometer part, and transmits the ion necessary for analysis with high efficiency. SOLUTION: In the mass spectroscope with the multipole ion guide for transporting ions output from an ion source by applying a high-frequency voltage to a plurality of rod-like electrodes, a high-frequency voltage with a characteristic vibration frequency of ions having a prescribed mass electric charge ratio is further applied to the ion guide by superimposing it on a high-frequency voltage for guide.
