PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a system, a method, and a program for document history analysis which realize reduction of a burden to users and improvement of retrieval efficiency in document retrieval based on history information of processing relating to documents. SOLUTION: A document history analysis device has a history information acquisition part for acquiring history information relating to a history of processing for each of a plurality of documents and a document relation analysis part for analyzing history information acquired by the history information acquisition part, on the basis of a prescribed analysis rule to obtain relations between the plurality of documents.
