PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower for a hot water supply device, improving the pressure-feed capability without alteration in the whole shape of a blower, reducing noise and lowering the cost. SOLUTION: An air passage 6 is formed in a casing 2 housing an impeller 3 rotated by a motor 4, and the impeller 3 is housed in the central part. The casing 2 is provided with an inlet 5 and a discharge opening 8, and the discharge opening 8 is changed from the conventional rectangle one to an elliptical one, whereby flow resistance is decreased to improve the pressure-feed capability and reduce noise.
