PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone rubber composition slight in plasticization return with time, good in storage stability and excellent in workability with slight tackiness on a roll or the like, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The silicone rubber composition comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane having in one molecule at least two alkenyl groups, (B) an organopolysiloxane or organosilane of the formula:R<SP>2</SP>O(SiR<SP>1</SP><SB>2</SB>O)<SB>m</SB>R<SP>2</SP>(wherein, R<SP>1</SP>s are same or different and each is a (non)substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<SP>2</SP>s are same or different and each is H or an alkyl; and m is a positive number of 1-50 ), (C) reinforcing silica with a specific surface area of≥50 m<SP>2</SP>/g, (D) calcium carbonate with a specific surface area of≥1 m<SP>2</SP>/g ( wherein, the weight ratio D/C is (1:2) to (1:200) ), and (E) a curing agent.
