PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning rod which can inhibit the concentration of stresses to prevent the damage to the rod and can smoothly be curved. SOLUTION: This spinning rod 10 has the first section 13 which constitutes a tip section. The first section 13 has a solid portion 28 and a hollow portion 29 which are connected to each other. The tip 32 of the hollow portion 29 is obliquely cut, and an opening 33 is directed to the side to which a tensile stress is formed. The first section 13 is bent in a normal bending direction M. A connection portion 30 between the solid portion 28 and the hollow portion 29 is filled with an adhesive member 43 and coated with a coating 45. The rear end portion 31 of the solid portion 28 has a conical portion 34 and a columnar portion 35, which are fit into the support portion 36 of the hollow portion 29. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
