PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel device for measuring flow rate for installing a flume so that it can be sealed by simple operation while checking the level of the flume to an invert. SOLUTION: The channel device for measuring flow rate comprises the flume 3 installed on the invert 4 formed at the bottom of a manhole 1 so that an upstream side pipe 5 communicates with a downstream side pipe 6 for measuring the flow rate of water in a channel. The flume 3 has a U-shaped connection section 10 in front view comprising: an embedding section 8 that is embedded to the pipe 5 at the upstream side and has an arc cross section projecting in the direction of the upstream side; and upstream end faces 9, 9 formed linearly symmetrically having a specified gap so that they come into contact with the upper left/right end faces of the pipe 5 at the upstream side from the upper rear end position of the embedding section 8 to the upper portion. Further, the flume 3 comprises: connection means 11, 13, 14, 14, 12 for connecting the connection section 10 to the upstream-side pipe 5 so that it can be sealed; and means 19, 19 for positioning the flume 3 horizontally to the invert 4.
