A method for measuring the isotope concentration of an element contained in a sample, which comprises subjecting the sample to the isotope dilution and thereafter measuring the intensity of an objective signal; and a kit for use in measuring the isotope concentration of a specific element or the isotope concentration in a specific position in a sample. The above method allows the adjustment of the ratio between the intensity of an objective signal derived from an isotope of an element and that of the objective signal derived from another isotope of said element, which has resulted in the accurate measurement of an isotope concentration.
