The anti-theft device for trailers consists of a collared bolt and conventional disc lock. The collared bolt has a large disc (1) at one end and a small disc (4) at the other end. Adjoining the large disc is a section (2) which can fit flush and almost without a gap in the towing eye of the trailer. Adjoining the aforesaid section is a narrower section (3) which protrudes from the towing eye by the smaller disc at the end and is sized so that it can be encompassed by the shackle of the disc lock.
