The design of the train station turntable (3) facility, which is located in the center of the train station, allows moving of entire trains including passengers. Therefore many switching procedures of trains are not necessary anymore like the switching of an engine for the return passage. The design includes a horizontal relocation facility (10), which is located in the maintenance area (9). The turntable is driven by electric motors (16).
